Single Element Load (Force + Moment)

Input for concentrated loads (forces and moments) applied within elements

Note: For detailed load explanation see also RM Bridge Load Types Library .
SettingDescription
From, To, Step Element series to be loaded
Assembly Alternative to load assignment via element series: Name of the assembly to be loaded. The specified load is applied to every element of the specified assembly.
Fx, Fy, Fz Applied force components in the global co-ordinate directions
Mx, My, Mz Components of an applied moment loading around the global coordinate directions
x/l Distance from the element begin to the load application point, given as a proportion of the element length (definition range 0 .0 to 1.0)
Global / Local Selection of the related direction system (global, local, or user default orientation system (Y'L, Z'L)). Beta: If Beta is selected, the program will consider the local Users default orientation system (Y'L, Z'L), without considering the elements angle β value, for load direction and eccentricities evaluation.
Nodal Load Entered loads are distributed to the element begin and end without taking into consideration any rigid restraint moments
